I went to summer school multiple times, graduated in January 2011 when the group of kids I came in with graduated June of 2010, etc. Because my grades were trash the first two years of HS.


As for how I turned out, I have a load mental health issues so that got in the way of perusing employment (I'm on SSI)

What about yall?

I always did good in school. Not your question, but I mean that in the sense I was a terrible student.

I literally would never do homework, go over anything, I would copy homework or do it 30mins before class in another class.

Now that I think about it, I just kind of coasted through school while giving off the impression I was doing well by turning in all my stuff. Def was a young depressed kid who happened to be an athlete. I have ADHD and now that im almost 30 it's undeniable. I kinda avoid structure of any kind and don't care for authority, and it's fukked me up a couple of times in life. I need structure

I'm class 2009. And I've never been to a single fukking summer school program. I graduated on time and I'm doing well for myself.

Im a 91 baby. I got left back in elementary school (which was common in NYC back in my day) so If I never got left back I would have been class of 09.

But we have been taught that structure is always a good thing...
There is beauty in a mind that's free...

Structure usually means rigid and non-flexible
