Brehs who did bad in school, how did you turn out in life?

Once I got into a smaller setting in HS I excelled. Test scores were good enough by then I got to graduate early.
Graduated with a 2.4 unweighted/2.8 weighted GPA. I literally never studied for tests & I either wouldn't do my homework or did it 30 minutes before class. I went to summer school twice because I failed math in 9th & 10th grade.
Finally graduating college after 5 years.
I have ADHD, I knew I had symptoms as early as middle school but when I told my mama she called me a liar & said I wasn't stupid
Despite ADHD, I've always been a smart kid. I got a 31 on the ACT & 1770 on the SAT without even studying. I had options to go to university (including my dream school Morehouse) but my GPA was ass so I would've needed astronomical loans. I started at community college & finished at a local state university.
I stopped taking Adderall for a while because I hate the physical side effects, but I might get back on it soon.

i was on the verge of dropping out and ending up with a GED, barely graduated.
a major truant in high school.
went to community college found some shyt i was interested in
transferred to a university
got my degree
went on to get another graduate degree on top of it.

I didn’t do bad in school but did enough to get by (like a previous poster said). I could do shyt and apply myself but just didn’t want to focus.. truthfully my black teachers were the best and kicked my ass. Grew up in the burbs. Other siblings were academic, I was on other shyt (at one point I got a D in gym one marking period cause I just didn’t feel like changing clothes). Took shyt a bit more serious as I knew college was approaching but still just did enough to get by. Ended up going to a good school.
my friends and Fam would say I’m successful (got my first condo at like 26/27). I was just always persistent and good with money.

Class of 92..went to 1 year of community college, dropped out, got arrested, did a bid (pops snitched on me for a crime he committed), got out, had a couple kids, ended up on SOHH in 1998, and found myself on the Coli in 2021 making anti-Lebron threads on a weekly basis.

Yezzir. I think you start to see the beauty of something not dedicated by emotions.
Kinda like needing 3/4 hobbies. One to stay in shape, one to bond with friends, one to relax, and one that carries a dream.
Even just starting there has done wonders for my life nd giving direction/identity.
I know MWF I'm going for an AM run, T,TH, and S I'm hitting the gym, Every other weekend I schedule time to hit the golf range or hoop, and I spend an hour 4x a week after work producing music. That alone has made me give up friends that weren't serving me, gets me in bed earlier and up earlier, and actually being present rather than drifting

I graduated high school I think 4th from the bottom on the merit list
Went to summer school all three summers and had to do night school in senior year. 
Class of 2000I have two master's degrees and graduating with my third on March 26... I am an army officer making $120k+. 17 years in.
