Truth be told, Warner had hall of fame moments but not a HOF career.
Every player that has won multiple MVPs has made the HOF(that are eligible, Mahomes, Rodgers and Jackson are still active but they're all going as well).

Two MVPs, 1 SB MVP, SB appearances with two different teams, I think he's made his case

That 2nd MVP is fugazi. He threw 22 interceptions. Marshall Faulk finished 2nd and probably should’ve been MVP but it’s a QB award. The two other quarterbacks that got votes were Kordell Stewart and Bret Favre. :mjpls:

Warner was that dude.

Watch him break down film and you can see why he made it work. Proof that if you can make quick decisions, anticipate the rush and deliver the ball accurately (and on time), that's 90% of what you need at QB.

Being 6'4" and running 4.5 are nice perks, but we've seen enough QBs hit a wall because they couldn't master the nuances.

Imagine Justin Fields if he saw the field like KW and could put the ball where he wanted on every type of throw.

Trevor Lawrence, Danny Dimes, Justin Herbert....all these dudes have more natural gifts but can't spin it like KW.

Well he's in, but we can definitely debate whether he should have gotten in.

I don't know why yall always do this thing where you talk about how "everybody else with _____ is in The Hall"---->we ain't talking about everyone else. We talking about Kurt Warner.

He was electric in his prime, and probably the best QB in the NFL over a 3-year stretch. That was it though. His prime was super short, he was injury-prone, and he threw a LOT of interceptions. He was boom or bust, when he was booming he was really booming, but he had a literal All-Pro Team around him when he was booming.

In St Louis in his prime he had Faulk, Bruce, Pace, ****, Conwell, Timmerman, these are 6 guys on offense who made a Pro Bowl or All-Pro Team during his 1999-01 run. + him makes 7 guys, that's 4 short of an entire offense, this mf had maybe the best offensive lineup ever.

That's not to mention other key weapons like Ricky Proehl and Az Zahir Hakim. Come on now.

Obviously his late career surge in Arizona wasn't a Super Team, but cracker was still throwing to Boldin and Fitzgerald. So there's a clear point here, that he had his greatest success when he had maybe the greatest offensive lineup ever, and in the other instance maybe the best receiver core in real time (they also had Breaston and Doucet).

Also don't forget, mid-career, he got benched for Eli fukking Manning. Come on now. That mid-career swoon is what, to me, took what could have been an infallible Hall candidacy based upon the 1999-2001 run, and put him out of contention. At his peak he was basically Favre, but his peak was so much shorter. And by the way, Favre had great offenses but he wasn't surrounded by the Dream Team Warner had in St Louis.

The fact they got upset in that Super Bowl vs New England too, Warner choking that game as a 14-point favorite never gets brought up, but we always hear about Brady's squad losing to the Giants. That Rams loss to NE was arguably the biggest upset in NFL history.

This was a guy with a Hall peak, Favre-level, but that peak was short, he always threw a ton of picks, he disappeared mid-career for like a half decade, he got benched for Eli Manning 🤣 and only had 5 really good years in a 12-season career.

I remember his whole career. They let him in so its all good but he did not deserve to be in.
