I feel your pain breh. It's hard to discipline the princess and not feel bad about it. My daughter has even told people all she has to do is give me the puppy dog eyes

I've spanked her a couple times but immediately would feel bad and apologize. What works best for me is to take something away and be firm with it. Luckily she's a goody goody and rarely does anything wrong but her mouth is smart as shyt

I went extra hard on her at that age and instilled a healthy amount of fear into her, lmao. Five years later she's turning into a great little person.

Another thing, make sure you and your wife always back each other's decisions, at least in front of your kids. If they find out that they can play you, best believe they will take full advantage of it when they get older.

They say if a child does 10 things wrong, ignore 9. That said I'm a big proponent of the belt. Mine is 4 and that's my baby but I'll put that leather on her behind if need be. Just had to the other day for acting a fool with her mother out in public throwing tantrums and shyt.

Ironically I have no trouble out of her ever. Her mother has to deal with her acting out when I ain't around and that's because she's slow with the strap cuttin deals and shyt

Consequences when she grows up will be ten times worse if she doesn't learn the importance of listening at a young age. Get it out the way when they're fairly young (before 5) and from there you should be able to govern with the threat of fear rather than actual fear or physical punishment. Basically let them know that the parent's word is not to be fukked with at an age that's before they can learn to think that violence is possibly a viable solution to problems. This worked great for me at least, ymmv.
