I wanna know why an owner of a Multi-million dollar house decided to rent out an Airbnb unit at their place? Said they had made 20K, seems like a drop in the bucket. Usually these types buy a crib out in Palm Springs or something to rent out if they wanna get into the Airbnb space

Shouldn’t have extended her stay 🤷🏾‍♀️

This shyt doesn’t really happen with corporate owned dwellings, does it? Like, if ppl try to squat they get booted TF out immediately.

What are these owners doing wrong? I’m sure if she tried this in an apartment 10min away they would’ve had her shyt on the sidewalk at 12:01pm.
Leasing out spaces without first fulfilling the legal requirements because they want to cut corners and make more money.

Ya'll need to understand that part. The reason he has no rights is because he wasn't following the law, so the law won't protect him. It exists to protect tenants in these exact situations.

He fukked around. He's finding out.

Why couldn't he follow the rules before getting into this game? :sadcam: We all supposed to cry now that he's got burned? :mjlol:

This woman is tempting her fate if the landlord was connected to dangerous folks this could have ended badly for her...:francis: These people think it's a game but when people keep that same energy..it's...:whoa:

I know of a couple sketchy Eastern Euro dudes that have the lavish house in the hills, she woulda been missing already :skip:

Those types wouldn't rent an Airbnb on their property though

You have to evict someone for cause you can’t just say you want them to leave even if it is your home.

This is why you do not let guests stay with you past a few days. I don’t let anyone stay in our house for more than 3 days I don’t care who it is including family. Get a hotel! If you can’t afford one you can’t afford to visit.
That’s wild right there but depending on the state you can serve them with an eviction notice. And if they drag it out to the point they have to be evicted, that eviction stays on their rental record and will make it hard for them to get a place of their own in the future same way any other eviction notice would.

That’s absolutely insane you can’t tell someone to leave your home just because u were nice enough to let them stay tho :gucci:

I also think the laws change somewhat if you’re actually living in the home the unwanted guests are in as opposed to renting out a property you might own but don’t live in. And especially if u letting them stay with you and not collecting any rent from them. As in you’re letting them stay for free, not you’re charging them rent but they won’t pay.

I could be wrong tho, this just my understanding :hubie:

You gotta love it

fukk AirBNB, fukk landlords

Pricing out ordinary people

Dutch Dentist will be fine
Would you or the rest of y’all who say shyt like this prefer there was no such thing as rentals and you can’t get a place unless you can afford to buy it? :jbhmm:

That’s the only thing all this gone eventually lead to.

Elizabeth Hirschhorn rented a long-term stay at Sascha Jovanovic’s Brentwood guest home in September 2021 — renting it for six months at a rate of $105 a night, with fees bringing the total to $20,793.

Have a squatter make $24k off renting your house smh

do come here often just to look at my house, and miss it …and wish I could be in it,” he said.

Jason’s deadbeat renter is listing the downstairs living space on Airbnb for $434 a night. Jason believes he is generating at least $2k a month, and possibly closer to $3k or possibly even $4k, depending on the month.

The Coli Slumlords always holler like hit dogs
Hence the problem…. and one of the reasons people are leaving LA….. due to too many misguided regulations/taxes when it comes to rental properties and starting businesses
Cool let them leave. I hope they all go to Florida and Texas to experiences all the wonders and freedoms deregulated governments provide for them :camby:

They definitely won't be begging for help from the government in a few years like everyone in FL when they realize that when only capital interest are at mind, not even they matter :russ:

Some of ya'll really think you're corporations.

If there was no such thing as rentals then everyone could afford to buy.

Rent seeking is what dtives the costs up.

Not sure what u mean by this breh

You saying if there were no rentals housing prices would be down? Not only that but down far enough for the average renter to be able to afford to straight up buy?

Basically all apartments would be condos that most current renters could afford to own?

Taking away renting would have people stuck for long periods of time as well. Relocating would be way more difficult if you had a 15-30 year mortgage as opposed to a 12 month lease.
