First shyt that came to my mind........

But as far as Ali goes, he serves as an example as to not go far beyond your physical prime and also be smarter with your money. Boxing change really occurred after Mancini-Kim :wow:

Ali was/is just sort of a cautionary tale, but didn't change boxing at all :manny:

Couldn't the same be said about Favre tho. Dude played into his 40s.

You're absolutely right, but that's why this won't bring the change we'd think it would...because he chose to play well beyond what he should have. If he throws shade on the NFL, it'll be thrown right back on him; even with his popularity he's not above the NFL. White America will not allow the destruction of their beloved sport by someone who should've retired ages ago. The only change that could honestly come from this is mandatory testing after a certain number of years in the league or quarterbacks getting that red jersey treatment until or after they cross the line of scrimmage (or something like that).

"....that I couldn't remember my daughter playing youth soccer."

Maybe he wasn't actually there anyway :lolbron:

In al seriousness tho, have you seeen Favre lately? When they showed him last week he looks WAY older than the average 44 year old man. Fast living and hitting your head on the ground probably doesnt help the aging process much.

The D (where it's so cold)
I think I need better examples of Gunslinger's memory loss than he forgot his daughter played soccer, that seems like something he'd want to forget and just found an avenue to legitimize an excuse to miss out on her boring ass games.:heh:

I bet he remembers all the words to Pants On The Ground, though.

You got all that money. You knew what was gonna happen. Don't complain now that you're old and retired. Pay somebody to stand next to you and write notes.

:snoop:

Side note, How are Aikman and Young holding up so well? :patrice:
