“We regret that out initial media release was not totally accurate, but new evidence indicates that it was not,” police wrote. “This information indicates that here is at least one gunman still at-large.”

About this website

WASHINGTONPOST.COM

Police said they killed a mall shooter. Now they say they might have shot the wrong man.
"They just killed that black boy for no reason," a witness said. "He probably got a gun license and everything."

I say this all the time. Even beyond the obvious racism and shytty experience here, in any public altercation with a shooter it is extremely difficult for the average civilian to tell who the "bad guy with the gun" is and who the "good guy with the gun" is, and when police arrive on the scene they don't even give a shyt, they're generally treating anyone with a gun as a target. If more than one person in a crowd pulls in response to a mass shooter, who knows who they'll end up shooting.

I disagree here almost wholeheartedly despite understanding where you're coming from.

A black man with a gun, unlike his equally licensed white male counterpart, doesn't get the opportunity to announce he's carrying and is a "good guy with a gun."

Why do these CACs love guns so much :dahell:
I work 17 minutes away from Aurora, CO where like 20 people got killed at the opening for the Batman movie. I made one ‘why do we need so many guns’ statement at work, and caught hell. shyt don’t make sense.

Guns helped White people to kill the Native Americans and get independence from the Brits. Southerners felt guns were their defense against a Negro uprising and their only hope of salvation from the tyrannical Union, while Northerners feel that guns freed the slaves and kept the Union together. All Americans feel that their guns saved the world in World War I and World War II.

It's a giant national ethos that our country is built around - the idea that guns bring salvation. I'd say the Revolution is the biggest moment in the buildup of that ethos but our whole history really revolves around it.

Right to bear arms is outdated it was made to combat Indians and British people.

All legal guns should be tracked and locked in armories and checked out for hunting purposes or incase of an invasion.
Why

Liberals and Dems Will always

Lose on this issue Every Time.

The majority of guns used in Chicago for example originate from the surrounding states with lax gun laws.
Exactly. In fact its a testament to the laws that criminals have to travel out of state to get a weapon.

However, I'm not really passionate about the gun control issue until the following are realistic possibilities:
  • There is a FEDERAL ban on guns and its enforced stringently in all 50 states.
  • There is a tightening up of the borders to minimize smuggling.
  • More on the wishful thinking side, the racist cacs have to give up their guns before anyone else.
Like you stated, the problem with places like Illinois is that their laws only work locally and you always can just drive a state over and grab a gun. It's not effective to just do it on a state by state basis. So, the next best thing in my mind, for me personally is to be able to practice my right to a gun as much as the next man, especially if shyt goes down with white supremacy becoming hip again in the mainstream.

Personally, just an aside, I enjoy guns from a engineering perspective. I especially love rifles and just the machinery of them. Some of them are beautiful machines.

I would love to own one of these. :wow:
