A David Banner youtube video put me on game with the philosophy of Cops of today doing exactly what they were meant to do when created. Round up and police slaves and protect slave owners interest. shyt looking just like that.
:banderas: if this ain't the truth then idk what is.

Because killing cops isnt bringing back Freddie Gray or Alton Sterling or Philando Castile and it's not preventing it from happening again either.

kill 5 cops vs cops most likely walking free

Tamir Rice was called in because someone reported a kid with a gun and the defense attorney claimed the officers had no idea the gun was fake. The defense attorney portrayed it as justified for their actions that day. Castile followed protocol which is caught on tape both visually and with audio

Well in Tamir Rice situation, the caller told the dispatcher that it was "probably" a fake gun, but the dispatcher never relayed that info to the cops. In other words, the cops went into the situation believing it was a real gun, HOWEVER, what comes into question was the tactics of the officers when they arrived. I mean who drives up right next to someone with a gun and just let's off???? Common sense says that they should have kept their distance, isolated and contained the kid, nd then made an assessment from there.

As for Castille....
Really? What audio was this on? From what I recall, from the looks of the video, the GF was stating what happened with Castille leaned over with blood on him, but nothing more than that though. The shooting and the conversation beforehand weren't captured on video to my knowledge. The only other evidence that we'll have is if he had a body cam with footage on it.

It's going to be a tough ticket to sell being the cop's word against hers. Honestly, I'm 60/40 on him walking.

Politics.

Just researched. Turns out the defendants had the option to go for either a jury trial or a bench trial. Most of the cops have opted for bench trials.

The lone jury trial resulted in a mistrial. The bench trials = not guilty verdicts.

Why did they become bench trials in the first place?
I'm guessing the defense requested bench trials. Usually when lawyers do that its because they believe they will have a more favorable ruling from the judge than a jury. I can see that in a racially charged case like this. Get in front of a cop-loving judge, which is most of them, and you got a great shot at an acquittal. I'm in Georgia and they made it so that the prosecutor has to agree to a bench trial before you can have one.

It is for the innocent people they would've killed. Their potential black victims all came back like

Looks like the rules in Maryland may be different, as most of the defendants are opting for the bench trial and are getting them. Maybe they don't need the prosecutor to agree to have one?

Only one defendant went for a jury trial and it resulted in a mistral.
