Bad loss tonight at Toronto 86-105. Nevermind JJ being out (and that hurt). They lost for 2 reasons: turnovers and an inability to find someone that WANTED to score. Toronto just did what they had to do. Get well soon JJ.

The good:
45% shooting. 6-16 from 3. They actually shot well. When they wanted to shoot, they could make shots.

Kirilenko: 17 points, 6 rebounds, 3 blocks, 3 assists. He had energy and lots of it.

Stiemsma: 4 blocks in 17 minutes. He did his part. And lastly, Derrick played a little better. He still has to put it together for 48 minutes.

the bad:
24 turnovers led to 36 extra shots for the Raptors. Of course they were gonna take advantage.

Both DeRozan and Lowry dropped 22 apiece. Their backcourt overwhelmed ours

Roy: 4 points, 5 turnovers, 0-3 FG. He had nothing. I don't know if he plays tomorrow, he only played 21 min. tonight, but he looked feeble tonight. It was hard to watch.

Last but not least, I don't wanna shyt on Shved. It's his 2nd game. I think he should have taken more initiative to green light himself. I don't care if he took 20 shots tonight and missed 15 of them. The team needed a gunner tonight with Barea out. If he wants to get more PT and start eventually, the CSKA Shved needs to come through. He was playing it way too safe when the team just needed buckets. He's a hotheaded kid so he can go off whenever he wants. He just shoulda picked his spots, that being tonight, since nobody else wanted to do it.

1-1. Next game at Brooklyn. I'll be there. I'll have my cheesecake, my mix and match popcorn, and I will sit back and watch a Nets blowout with a bunch of hipsters yelling BROOOKLYYYYNNNN. If the Wolves play better tomorrow, consider it a good thing because tonight's performance was something I expected tomorrow.

@Loose

Jonny Flynn's going to sign with the Melbourne Tigers of the NBL in Australia. Yeah. Now he can get smoked by Jamar Wilson and 2 Hard 2 Guard on a nightly basis

Just got back. Wolves win in Brooklyn 107-96.

Incredibly, 2-1.

What a game. You had to be there. The game was going just as I expected and then the team found some pride and figured it all out. I was stunned as much as the crowd was. I'm damn near speechless.

The good:

AK-47: 16 points (7-11 FG), 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 blocks. He spearheaded the entire game. Kudos to him. He is fun to watch and kept the team in it. Veteran leadership 101.

Pek: 21 points, 7 rebounds, 2 blocks. The only person that could stop Pek tonight was Pek. Had he not gotten into foul trouble, he woulda had 30 easily. He's got their number.

Dante Cunningham: 11 and 11, +21. Animal. His motor never stopped. That was contagious and everyone else played that way.

Chase: 16 and 6, kill shot 3. If Chase does this semi-consistently, especially from outside, he and Dante will be the 2 shrewdest moves we made, speaking of shrewd,

Shved: 10 points, 3 assists, +16, but really he shined in the 2nd half. That's the Shved I wanted to see yesterday. This is the Shved I know he can be for this team. CSKA Shved was out there. I hope this is the beginning of something good for him.

As for the team, 50% shooting, 11 turnovers, 36 points in the 2nd half. Awesome

the bad:

the first half was so bad it was Rambis-esque. 61 points, all those wide open 3's. We were so awful.

18 fouls. Had Brooklyn played it smarter that coulda did us in permanently.

Lastly, I don't wanna say Derrick Williams played badly. If anything when we were down 22 I wanted Rick to play him the rest of the way. However, Rick did the right thing in playing Cunningham. Derrick has to make sure he's not in that position. That wouldn't happen to Love. That wouldn't happen to Rubio. He needs to play well enough to where that never happens to him. It all worked out though.

Bad teams find a way to lose. We might not be bad for much longer.

What a game. You had to be there.

The wolves struggle guarding guards but Shved really helped slow down Williams in the 4th and Chase and Cunningham made plays on both ends of the court in the 4th.

Once Rubio gets back this team will be set up nicely with penetrate and kick outs and that pick-n-roll will be :lawd:

Im glad Adelman let the team that got us back into it finish it. Cunningham coming for those few minutes derrick williams is using. He's not even playing terribly but hes our 4th-5th best big when Love gets back :snoop:

Derrick showin out early. If he stays active good things will happen for him.

Derrick + Luke + pick for Afflalo and Ayon would be awesome, but unrealistic.
