I don't like that they're scoring on us since the game has been played to our tempo all night, but they're holding on.

T'wolves win at home on a Chase Budinger game winner
over the Pacers.
We are 4-1!
Close game all the way, and we almost choked it away, but we are now 3 games over .500 for the first time in nearly 6 years!!!!!! The bench is for real. Contributions from nearly everyone. We're winning the close ones too. If y'all remember last year. We were in every game early on but just did dumb shyt at the end to lose it. They're not losing them so far.
The good:
Air Bud: 18 points, 9-10 FT's, 4 boards. He really kept us from slipping. We couldn't buy a bucket in the 3rd but we lived at the line because of him. Money acquisition.
Shved: 11 points, 7 dimes, and he controlled tempo the way Ricky did. It was eerie to watch. He really really had a pulse on what was going on. He'll be needed big time in the next week depending on what happens to Roy. He's already exceeded my early expectations for him.
50% FG, 24-28 FT, 12 turnovers
Lastly: Derrick had 15 points, Dante had 11 and 4. I kinda wish Derrick was out there during those close moments alongside Dante, but they both contributed. As I said from the beginning, PF was NOT gonna be a problem area for this team with or without Love.
the bad:
George Hill was a monster. 29 points, 5 boards, 7 assists, game tying 3. PG's will have their way with us til Rubio returns. Fact of life.
Pek had a very uneven game. He frustrated West and Hibbert on D, but he botched that gimmie layup that led to the game being tied. The touch isn't where it should be right now.
Lastly, I just hope Roy's gonna be OK. Sore knee, so I doubt he plays tomorrow, but everything is touch and go with him, so hope for the best. The good news is that Shved is more than capable.
