Reppin
My Pops Forever RIP
a little late, but Wolves lose at home to Denver 101-94 in Love's surprise first game back. Love was on point, but the team fell apart quarter by quarter and that needs to get fixed soon. This is our 3rd L in a row as we're 5-5.

The good:

Knuckles is back and still the same: 34 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals. The 3 point shot was off but that's about it. He played very very well.

10 3's made. Encouraging.

JJ Barea came back: 12 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists. Good to see him healthy.

The bad:

32-21 in the 4th quarter. The team made the first 3 quarters not matter they played so poorly.

Rick needs to figure out how to use AK47 and Pek more in the flow of the offense. As good as Love was, he got way too dependent on him rather than run the plays that got us our early good start. I don't think it should be an issue long term, but it needs to be addressed. Pek and AK shouldn't have 15 shot attempts combined.

Team shot 38% from the field and 16-25 from the line. INEXCUSABLE. Make your damn free throws.

Rare off night by the bench, but most glaring of all, Derrick Williams after his best game so far this season: DNP. That too is inexcusable by Rick.

Just gotta regroup. At least Love, Pek, and JJ are back and ready to go, but time to show results. Team must keep treading water until Rubio gets back. Knuckles owes us that much.
