Wolves almost survive. We get the W at Dallas 90-82.
Wolves now 5-2!
I just want Pek healthy. That's my only concern. Don't let it be anything more than a sprain.
The good:
Pek before he got hurt was ballin. 20 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists. The touch was there. Be OK Pek.
Held Dallas to 82 points and 36% FG shooting. Malcolm Lee and Alexey Shved did a number on OJ Mayo (no homo). They shut him down.
Shved: 16 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, 3 blocks. Wow. Clutch Motherfukkin gene.
AK47 16 and 11, Dante 14 and 8. They keep us in games and keep us ahead. That's why I was so happy about getting AK and definitely Dante.
Lastly, Malcolm Lee didn't have a sparkling stat line, but he looked like an NBA player and in all honesty, he's come a long way. May he be worth the investment.
The bad:
17 turnovers. It's bend but not break defense, but they bend more than necessary sometimes.
Collison: 21 points and Dallas was at their best when they played small ball. With Roy and JJ on the way back this will be less of an issue. With Rubio back this shouldn't be an issue at all.
Lastly, Derrick Williams is in the doghouse and I really don't know why. 4 points, 5 rebounds in 12 minutes and please believe, he only played more than 7 because Pek was hurt. I don't know what he did wrong, but it's clear Adelman doesn't care for him. That situation needs to be resolved and fast because I get that he loves Dante and AK47 and Pek and Love and Stiemsma, but if he can't use Derrick even when he's not fukking up, then for both sides Derrick needs to go because this hurts everyone.
5-2. Please no more injuries. Next game is at home vs. Charlotte.
