The losing streak is over. Wolves beat the Kings at Arco (it's fukkin ARCO, fukk a Sleep Train) 97-89. They didn't blow the game, and it doesn't hurt to have Knuckles back on his bullshyt.

The good:

Knuckles: 23 and 24. The three point shot is still off, but what else is new with this team? He's still producing, which is gonna be key as Ricky will need him.

46% FG shooting, 25 assists. MUCH better at passing the ball. Everyone except Dante was at a + today.

Luke and Leezy: 12-19 combined FG, 28 points. A far cry from 2 the other night. Ricky's on his way back, it's gonna be so good seeing Luke and Leezy back in their old roles (a part of me thinks Luke's gonna go back to SG just as a shooter til Roy returns).

Lastly, AK-47: 14, 6, 5 assists, 3 blocks. Tonight was the first night in a while where he didn't look tired. It's one of those things Rick needs to monitor better (by playing Derrick but I'll get to that.)

The bad:
17 turnovers. This will improve in a couple of weeks. Sloppy on the part of the bigs, especially Pek. He's better than this, but he's getting pickpocketed a lot so far.

Another DNP for Derrick. Now while I'm still upset about this, here's what I will say. I'll only agree with Rick on this. Shortening the rotation down the stretch works. If by some chance he DNP's Dante, I can see what he's trying to do. I just wish Derrick was in his constant rotation, and that will change once Ricky's back. I think Ricky knows Derrick well so to ease him back, I think Derrick initially needs those minutes over Dante, especially late in games.

Lastly, I won't be able to go to MSG for this Wolves /Knicks game on the 23rd. I'll be in Miami watching the T'wolves and OKC instead :steviej:

6-7. Clippers tomorrow on NBA TV.

I leave you with Rubio shooting 3's.
