I burned the fukk out of my right hand (my dominant hand mind you) not too long ago. I did it the about an hour before I had to be at work & worked my entire shift before coming home & going to urgent care. I was lucky to not need a skin graph& now that my hand has healed quicker than expected (even had the doctors looking like at the recovery) I feel I can make as many burn & fire puns as I feel.


Even if I wasn't a member of the burn club along with Richard Pryor & Michael Jackson ( to both of them) I'd still be making jokes.

lol, I've been negged trained enough but basically I find it funny that alot of users are laughing at a black man setting another black man on fire.

everyone's making jokes (and some are funny, I'm no stick in the ass) but the double standard pisses me off. had the man been white who set these 2 guys on fire and someone made a joke, it would be all out war.

My momma was like up the street and the kitchen was a mess so I was trying to straighten it up or at least look like I was cleaning up before she walked in. I was heating up some bacon grease to pour in be grease can (from what I hear that's considered ghetto to have a can of old grease I the kitchen but whatever). And i have the fire too high, next thing I know the smoke alarm is going off & reached for the handle to remove it front the eye. And the grease splashed on my hand. I yelped and tried to Doctor it on my own.

Went to work (I'm a clerk so I type) and quickly the burn blisters formed, but while working they popped. For most of my shift clear liquid kept oozing from my hand. I struggled to work that day but I did. I went home and facetimed my friend who is a nurse and asked how bad it was. He told me it was plasma oozing & that I should go to urgent aid ASAP. I drove to the nearest one like 10 Min from me using one hand.

I walked in slightly distraught but rather calm for the severity. While the staff was like ' you went to work like that??!??' And I was like ' yep.' They told me they've seen grown ass men acting like over things that weren't nearly as bad as my burn was. Turns out I had a second degree burn. Had to miss 2 1/2 weeks of work but didn't need a skin graph thankfully. When i got back to work there were rumors flying around about why I was gone. So being he messy Gossip Girl the Coli IRL, I put a few out there to purposely & see how it would change if it got around and back to me.
