I’m glad you said westerners as a whole, because it becomes clearer everyday, that their are even black people in the West that want black nations to remain underdeveloped.

Otherwise they wouldn’t be the internet street team for AFRICOM/CIA propaganda.

I used to think it was just ignorance, but even when you present them with the facts they still run with the idea that China is somehow the bad guy because their masters have successfully implanted it in their brains.

One thing I want to know breh is how is the China business involvement in Nigeria have an impact on the Nigerian youth
Would they have more wealth building opportunities than their parents because of the Chinese involvement? Can Nigeria be able to economically improve internally and not become a satellite country for China?

Some of you ignoramaus in here should spend some time listening to him. Solid brother.

His always kept it 100. Has an amazing grasp of history and social movements. Is not out to grift his own people so he can live in white neighborhoods.

And makes whites genuinely uncomfortable when he brings up the nasty shyt they've gotten up to.

I've consistently said on this board a lot of these people are imperialists and conquistadors in blackface, some way somehow always have to insert american exceptionalism and propaganda into every discussion

yard is known worldwide for entertainment

culture & criminality

definitely more significant in those areas

educationally economically politically who is doing better¿

what's more significant than the quality of life for the people living in the islands¿

*

Nothing you’ve said has refuted what I’ve said - Jamaica is and always will be more significant than Barbados. But I’ve noted your remark.

A British Rapper who is not of Jamaican or Chinese decent speaking on Jamaican and Chinese issues.

Is there a Donovan Elite Nasheed in Jamaican who can give us the real? Is there a Xiang Nasheed, director of Hidden Chopsticks, who can speak on what's going on on the China side of the game?

He's way too trusting of the Chinese people. Plus at the end he said he is biased

This is a great post.

American exceptionalism is a ruse & make-believe in context of the black population in the US & that’s what these people can’t grasp. The only group American exceptionalism applies to are the white elites who’re able to buy their way everywhere after brainwashing folks with soft power & perhaps the white population cos it perpetuates white power/supremacy.

America basically has a blank cheque based on the luxury it has with printing money. So, it begs the question: why’s America relatively less developed with high level of poverty compared to other countries in the west? And with its blank cheque - the standard of living of the average American should be better than what it’s.

I think the problem with this board is that some are ignorant (which is understandable) while there are also some that are very delusional. The latter are the ones that can be a tad irritating especially the ones that took those 3-4 wks IT courses & got a normal job, then start acting like their shyt doesn’t stink (not knocking them cos you have to get it how you can). Those ones are comical & it exposes their lack of exposure. When they travel far/wide & meet young black techies from different nationalities who’re actually experts in the field & are making real big banks - they would re-evaluate their lives. Out there, no cares about your nationality (except maybe as a novelty in 3rd world countries) until you speak & tell them where you’re.

Also, it’s also problematic for AAs who don’t understand the level of destruction colonisation & subsequent western imperialism caused in the Caribbean/Africa to think he/she has the answers to the level of distrust between Caribbean/Africa & the West - based on American propaganda. It’s just basically like an African who doesn’t understand the trauma slavery, Jim Crow, crack era & mass incarceration caused to AAs trying to proffer solutions to their dysfunction. You have to respect people’s opinions & emotions based on their experiences & let them make their choices.

For example: my parents settled in the UK in the early 80s & can’t return back home cos of how unstable things are.I grew up hearing about how things used to be good back home, especially in the 70s during the oil boom - until World Bank & IMF imposed Structural Adjustment Programme (SAP) happened. As I have grown up & had a better understanding of geopolitics - obviously someone like me & people from my generation with the same experience would feel a certain way about western imperialism that an AA won’t understand. That’s even when you ignore the destructive colonialism.

All in all, I think there needs to be more dialogue & understanding of the different black experiences to bridge the gap. Also, a lot of people need to start leaving their comfort zone & travelling for more exposure (not for pums like passport bros or whatever they’re called). The world is a big place.
