Just two weeks after WNBA star Brittney Griner and fiancée Glory Johnson were arrested on assault and disorderly conduct allegations, the couple tied the knot in a ceremony in Phoenix, Arizona. Griner and Johnson have been engaged since last August.
Following her arrest, Griner pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and will attend domestic violence counseling.
In an Instagram post following the incident, Johnson wrote that she and Griner are “actively seeking help in order to do better.” The WNBA announced that it was investigating the matter, but has not punished either player.
