All I hope is, after this news, that Jalen restructures his contract for a bigger payday seeing that he's a SB winning QB..something that 95 percent of his contemporaries are not

Purdy is a year younger, has actually been to a SB (team accomplishment) and arguably has the better resume overall.
Hurts just won SB MVP at the same age.
You got younger QBs like McDaniels who you could argue have already passed him.
Jordan Love is a guy who gets inserted into threads about other players.

Age doent matter if u only played 2 seasons as a starter. I know u still hurt Luck quit with nothing to show for it. But lets not project that loser shyt onto others who are still playing and not give up on their team.
Years as a starter didn't matter what Green Bay gave him the big contract. fukk all of the crying about injuries or whatever else you're doing.
Jordan Love is absolutely expected to be leading a team to SB contention. Comes with the check, the same expectations Purdy now has going forward.
Love has not delivered, we'll see if that changes. Post more excuses in the meantime.
Sure. Always open to a respectful debate/dialogue.
Couple things:
1. I think anywhere from 65-80% of the starting QBs in the NFL are generally overpaid.
2. I think Purdy is one of the top 12 or so QBs in the league, but he happens to be in a situation and offense that doesn't require a 50M a year QB, market rate be damned.
While I don't think Purdy is at the level of say... Lamar, Josh, Burrow, Mahomes, Stafford, Mayfield, etc. ... my issue with the contract is moreso that I think the QB position in general is way overpaid and that specific payscale is out of whack.
