assists = irrelevant stat IMO because we never really know the quality of the pass.....was it really a pass that opened up the D or was it a pass and the shooter just made a good shot

I've watched enough Heat games to know that alot of Bron's assists come from him just holding onto the ball for most of the shot clock then passing it to one of his teammates with little time left. The teammate then hits the shot with a man covering him. I don't really think I should give Bron credit for just passing the ball to a covered player.

Yeah and Lebron is usually always consistent. He hardly has any bad games. Even in Kobe's prime he used to have a lot of off nights. Lebron's consistency is what puts him over Kobe.
