I'd just pack the paint, cut off all driving lanes and force lebron to shoot or let the cavs shooters beat me his post game is garbage

Why do people keep saying this? Lebron is probably the most dangerous player in the league, when he's in the post because his ability to see the floor and create for others out of the post.

I seriously don't understand the volume of hate threads LeBron gets on this site
he's one of the most disingenuous superstars to ever exist. He's ARod without any of the hilarity.

And his game isnt pleasing to watch. He's effective, but so robotic outside of fast breaks. You watch Dream, Kobe, or MJ and your like :whoo:

You watch Lebron just barrel to the rim, and you're like :ld:

Cavs Lebron was a lot more fun than post-2011 Bron too

This right here sums up my thoughts on Bron perfectly and I'm a fan:yeshrug:

I loved watching him when he was younger that playoff game is Detrroit is still crazy to me. He's definitely not about the finesse though, I can't penalize him for being the biggest nikka on the court. He's Shaq and Magic all rolled into a wingman basically

oh I guess I was just dreaming when I saw Deshawn Stevenson and Shawn Marion in his culo for an entire series

We're talking about Lebron right now, not 5 seasons ago, right? :rudy:

"Hey, look, Kobe air-balled a lot of clutch shots against Utah back in 1998!" :umad:

Ya'all went to the Kobestan school of cherry-picked numbers. Why are you showing 2 random games from the series instead of the whole series?

You're comparing 2 below average games for Lebron with 2 games that will largely define Leonard's career

Oh yeah, that's why.

Kawhi's averages for series: 18/6/2
Lebron's averages for series: 28/8/4

They both shot the fukking shyt out of the ball that series though...Kawhi just had Parker/Duncan/Ginobli/Patty/Danny hitting everything too, while most of the Heat outside of Lebron weren't hitting shyt, and the ones who were (Bosh and Rashard) weren't putting nearly enough up.

It appears unlikely that Lebron can be stopped this season...his outside shooting has been fukking horrid, and he's still controlling the games in every other way and hitting huge shots at the end. If "hope he misses outside shots" isn't working, there isn't much else you can do.

Golden State doesn't need to stop Lebron though. All they need to do is keep him low-efficiency and keep the other Cavs from hitting too many threes, and they'll simply outscore him.

I'm guessing that fool didn't know that Lebron's points-per-possession in the post has been at the top of the NBA over the last four years.

It's really funny. It's like people don't even watch the dude play and throw out old talking points or think that not playing like Hakeem means you aren't good in the post.

Lebron is one of the hardest players to stop in single post coverage because of his overall IQ. He's great at getting deep position and sealing off defenders, he's too strong and big for the vast majority of perimeter defenders but he can also face up because he's too fast and capable a ball-handled for bigger defenders.

He can also hit fadeaways from both blocks and he's comfortable enough for it to be a bailout shot. Plus, he's great at dissecting stupid double teams that come too quickly or too slowly.

Because teams double. His post game is trash I'd let lebron beat my squad everytime in the post his mid range game is suspect, his footwork is garbage stop doubling and let him try to beat you his post moves are limited. If he converts oh well He'll be exhausted if he keeps posting up(which he won't)

You may keep Lebron from scoring for a 1 quarter but during that drought he will be getting them assists and rebounds to keep them in the game.

In other words you can't fukking stop Lebron

Lebron isn't a player soley bent on scoring. He contributes in all areas of the game when he's serious and not crying about the refs missing a call :snoop:

Literally the only thing I don't like about his game, He gives up 5-4 transitions when he does that
