It's one of those things where the truth about his capabilities (in a team setting) probably lies somewhere in the middle.
i.e. can't feel sorry about the KD Warriors "robbing" him of 2 title runs with the imbalance they created, when him forming the Heatles gave him the same favorable imbalance for 2 titles. You can praise his 2015 or 2018 romp thru shytty East teams while recognizing that he looked just as dominate in his 2009 romp thru shytty East teams.. until he came across another all-nba superstar (Dwight) who couldn't be bullied in the ecf.
You can recognize his admirable 2014 Finals performance in a losing effort while also acknowledging his abysmal 2011 choke. There's enough years and situations to know he's not as bad ("LeBrick"/"LeChoke") as his haters make him out to be.. and that he's actually worked on and improved his game (esp his shooting)... but that he's also not this indomitable boogeyman (except when "he needs more help") that his stans claim he is either.
