It's because people weren't doing this dumb shyt until very recently. Hakeem was great and no one ever questioned that. No one was shytting on him for all of his first round exits. If today's mentality existed in the 80's, Olajuwon would be a loser who only got rings because Jordan took a break, Barkley would be a cancer that you can't win with, Bird would be a loser that can't repeat, Reggie would be a p*ssy who doesn't belong in the hall of fame (ok, that one is true) but you get the idea. Basketball seems to attract a lot of mildly retarded spectators.

or maybe people don't like him and take Bron and his stans to task for the Superteam shyt and the "not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4...." comment :ld:

nikkas and the world at large was DESPERATE to crown this nikka the next MJ and he's been literally shoved in people's faces like "HERE, LIKE THIS GUY" since he came into the league

they were calling him the King before he got out of cotdamn high school
now, that he HASN'T measured up there's a whole lot of mental gymnastics on the part of his Stans and other advocates to keep trying to put him in rarefied air he doesn't belong in.

shyt, you wanna be real about it you could make an argument that he hasn't even surpassed Larry Bird yet :yeshrug:

and yeah, there's other guys that have worse records in terms of Finals wins and losses but let me reiterate, there wasn't this decade-plus long campaign to crown them by the media

people don't like being told what to do, who to like, etc...especially when the hoopla and hype don't match reality :francis:

Again, so getting to the finals and losing is somehow worse than losing in earlier rounds?

You're saying that if Lebron lost against the likes of the Pacers and Bulls in the ECF, it'd be better than losing against the BEST TEAMS OF THE WEST!

That's fukking moronic. "Lebron goes consistently further in the playoffs than Hakeem, that fukking loser".

It's bull shyt and moving the goal posts because CP3 is constantly shytted on for not making it out of the second round.

Lebron said he rather lose in the playoffs than the finals last year didn't he?:yeshrug:losing a championship is worst than losing in the playoffs.

Those are skills Bro...that's what makes dude so unique..YOU just said NOBODY his size should be able to dribble like that and have that type of speed...he can pass like any top PG, rebound like any PF...and a streaky shooter from 3PT....think about all THAT in one person...

dude is 6'8" 260...

we are comparing dude to a 6'3 195lbs PURE shooter in Steph....
and 2(Kobe/MJ) 6'6" 220lbs shooting guards...

dude has skills....there is NO WAY he could be what he is without having skills...

did you see dude dap up the Bismack after the game?....same damn size...expect one's job is to rebound, block shots, tough defense and roll to the paint for put backs...now ask Bismack to do what Lebron has to do with the BALL...ask Blake G. to do that..ask Ron Artest to do it...

they can't...because they lack the SKILL that Lebron has....

Excuse post and spot on. The man is one of the most skilled to ever play the game never mind his size.

Charles Barkley was really underrated athletically, he was 290lbs when he was drafted :dead: but he moved like this -

He's really the only other 260+lber I can think of that was explosive like LeBron is

:wow:What a great highlight/lowlight video. shyt really told a story.

The Sixer version of Chuck was something else. I remember when I was 6 or 7 he was my aunts favorite player and her nickname fit him was "Big Truck". Never realized until I was grown how perfect that name was. At that size, to move like that was unreal.

So you're saying that Lebron losing against the Raptors is a better look for him than losing against either GSW or OKC?

I just wanna make sure you're saying that you think you think losing in the first round is a better end to a season/franchise/player than winning the conference.

So losing a series that you were up 1-3, in the first round, is a better end to your playoffs than getting to the finals?

Lebron means King in African. Him being called and liking being called "King James" is pretty much a play on his name.

Don't match reality? Lebron is a 4 time MVP, 2 time FMVP, and has been racking up statistical achievements plus showing off sheer longevity that we haven't seen since guys like Jordan.

The dude had a season as good as Kobe's, just as many FMVPs and has as many MVPs as Kobe, Shaq, and Hakeem COMBINED, all recognized as all time greats.

And people act like this is somehow unimpressive.

Only thing I hate about LeBron is he so worried about others opinions of him

I'm not a huge fan of his neither a hater, but he need to get smart with the media in their face...kobe did it, when I grew up Kareem did it to local L.A. sports media..

Everyday should be a tupac day " me against the world "...

But he is a Jay-Z fan and u know how Jay-Z cares about what others think of him

But I wish dude the best.. glad he hasn't become a OJ or Steve Francis off the court
