Three of the five thugs cops say jumped and viciously beat a man in Brooklyn were arrested Monday, police sources said.

A fourth suspect was slated to turn himself in on Tuesday and the fifth is still being sought for the shocking caught-on video attack on Kenneth Wong, sources said.

Two of the apprehended suspects are 13 years old and the other is 15, the teens’ parents told the Daily News. Cops did not reveal their names because of their ages.

“I certainly feel relieved and safer," Wong said after learning of the arrests. "I want to express gratitude for all the public workers, especially those that are in the front line.”

Wong, 38, was walking on Chestnut St. near Glenmore Ave. in East New York about 5 p.m. Friday when he was jumped from behind by five men about 5 p.m.

He was left with a slash wound on his head that was so deep it reached his skull. The robbers snatched his credit card and treated themselves to a meal at a nearby McDonald’s and other snacks totaling about $200, according to the victim.

Surveillance video obtained by the Daily News shows the group coming up to Wong from behind. One attacker slashes him in the head, then another punches him in the face, knocking him to the ground. Another runs up and stomps on Wong’s head. They go through his pockets and take off with his wallet, leaving him bloodied and battered.

Wong, a father of two who works as a government employee, received 35 stitches and 16 staples in his head. His attackers also broke his nose.

Carla Alaga, the mother of the 15-year-old suspect, said the video “shows he did nothing. The other boys — they chased (Wong) and beat him up. I don’t know what (her son) was doing with them. I don’t know his friends.”

The father of another suspect told The News his son knew he did a bad thing.

“My son is only 13 years old. I brought him (to the stationhouse) myself. He knows what he did is wrong," the father said.

“Kids when they jump together do stupid things.”

Can't cosign 15 year kids slashing people's faces unprovoked. That's not normal adolescent youthful behavior. It’s crazy how much crime has increased in Brooklyn (gentrified parts included) in the last year. I had two kids about the same age as these kids in the photo try to break into my car on Mother’s Day!

Luckily, I walked outside just as they were about to enter and they tried to play it off and ask about my dog. I have high definition surveillance cameras covering the perimeter of my residence and they still tried to commit the crime.

These kids don’t have opportunities and are unsupervised once school is let out. Prospect Park is slowly becoming dangerous with groups of teens roaming the park looking for victims to rob, mostly other teenagers.

Maybe I’m getting old and soft but I don’t think I’ve had to have my head on a swivel as much in the last decade as I do now.
