Nicole, I would meet up with you and @CarmelBarbie.
Take y’all out to a nice restaurant South End, Charlotte.
And pull up wearing a Polo shirt with the HUGE logo.
Some Girbaud Jean shorts that go to my calves (and I’m 6’5 do pants for y’all)
Some white Air Force 1s
A 2 color doo rag (with the tail) and Jordan headband on top.
An y’all would still be likefrom the southern swag. And I don’t even own none of that shyt nor do I have a southern accent

In your case, I might make an exception. Let's get it....

Never felt threatened unless it's a situation where I knew going into there would be potential threats or I needed to be prepared for a confrontation. It had nothing to do with your generalized statement or being in fear in my normal every day travels among black men in NY. In fact, there's more times where I felt protected being around them, in their company and they had my back interacting with them; there are more risks being exposed to someone with your mentality. Had I went home and told one of my brothers that dude I was dating had a gun on the dresser, you wouldn't be here to make your statement or in a position to post your comment.

Low tolerance for dumb shyt.
you get it.
