The hotel you stay at the Academy is provided by the school. Its a regular ass La Quita Inn ran by Indians.
After that they start paying you so they don't provide you with a free hotel anymore

You choose when you drive. Some people only drive 8 hours total a day, with breaks in between them
PM me what company this is.

You know I aint a hater. :salute:

Day 4:

Had my first evaluation.
Was nervous as hell, the whole class plus the instructor paying attention me and only me. Test was straight line backing.

Was so nervous I forgot to adjust my mirrors, so I hit a cone on my passenger side. Just one.
Did everything else good enough, fucced up mirrors and all, and passed.

Oh well, I feel more comfortable being the wheel now.

We spent the rest of the day getting introduced into pre trip :wow:

When I went to get my license I took soooo long in pre trip I timed out and had to do my driving portion later in the day. My problem was I didn't really pay attention until the week of the test. Make sure you get the coupling right, the Air test almost got me but if I thought I forgot something I would start over.

If you don't like clutches and gears just leave now. Are y'all double clutching? Good luck holmes.

Firt time driving today, practicing shifting. We double clutch.
I actually did the best in my group, alotta ppl were suprised and congratulating me for how well I did with double clutching.

My real problem is backing

Side sight parralel
Blind sind parallel
Offset(i havent even practiced that yet :merchant: )

When it comes to backing I tell people not to listen the opposite bullshyt a lot of instructors sell.
I was told it's like a baby when you look at your mirrors and the trailer is drifting and you don't want it to go that way, hit it (steering wheel) the direction you don't want it to go.

Remember don't turn too much and when it comes to parallel, offset and alley dock remember your points (look at the landing gear on your trailer).
