Maybe we should be more self reflective and introspective when it comes to these topics before we point the finger at the other gender.

Problem is average people being ok with being average. Exceptional black women look for exceptional black men. The Problem is 2 fold.

1.Exceptional Black men DON'T Look for exception black women: they just look for what's on point. Eff gittin stuck with some stripper, burger king strumpet just because the ass was fat and she gave me the eye.

2. Average Black women thinking they are exceptional: Flaunting about your $20/hr gig at AT&T lets me know you don't have shyt else to be proud of. What are your talents, ambitions, things you like to learn about. If all you doing is working 5 days a week and hitting the bar on friday while lil Daveon is at his "auntie" Nita house..you aren't a "bad bytch". Youz a cog.

I've said plenty of times that black women are not perfect, that I would never say they were beyond criticism, and etc. The absurd things you guys point out like claiming mixed are simply not things that I encounter or look for. There have even been men who said the same thing.

However, you are not going to get me to dwell on that mess everyday. Just like you guys would call a black woman who dwells on no good black men every bitter and angry (and probably no good). I have to use your logic to come to same conclusions about you. I am using the same logic from the article in the OP.

There's a line between constructive criticism and complaining. And like I said, criticism can be the catalyst for improvement. These topics get beaten to a pulp because nobody wants to acknowledge that some of these negative stereotypes manifested after a repeated pattern of behavior. Your "people like you" remark is just haughty bs because I've never had a problem with black women, even if I notice and acknowledge some of the foolish behavior

I cited simple statistically based facts that you challenged, as if they weren't true. I cited those statistics with respect to the impact they have on the black household vis-a-vis, the connection w/ the relationship patterns w/ black women and the black family.

Now OF COURSE, I agree w/ you that there are mad social and institutional variables that are designed to punish the black male, and work against our success.

Again thats not the convo we're having, and if anything you saying that works to the disfavor of this thread. Instead of acknowledging how the system works against the black fam, weenie niqqas would rather take the easy way out and attack our vulnerable sistas who are holding our communities down.
