I read he had this woman on the side for a few years and she made a few songs sad about him marrying Demi Moore and she thought he would marry her...

Damn. Great actor with so much range and diversity. Could go from the tough guy action hero to the romantic lead to a sympathetic doctor with ease.

You can also tell he lived his life right. His ex wife (Demi Moore) and current wife have been living together with him, helping with his care (plus his kids are helping too). The fear a lot of people have is that no one will be there to help take care of them. For him to have both wives and his kids involved tells me everything I need to know about his character and the love he has.
:salute:

He was diagnosed in March 2022... according to several sources.

his families and co-workers suspected he was suffering from something earlier... he was not diagnosed earlier

https://web.musc.edu/about/news-cen...entia-one-of-several-forms-that-can-strikeNaw the family announced it 2022 he was diagnosed before that
in that news story you posted.

They revealed that Willis was recently diagnosed with aphasia, "which is impacting his cognitive abilities."

follow up from 2023

Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD). Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.

Robin Williams also had a form of Dementia and it's the reason he committed suicide.

Seems like an awful way to spend your last years

His struggles were noted, heavily, with his performance in that "Night of the Museum" movie he was in (That was released AFTER his death) 'cause he was constantly forgetting lines or flubbing adlibs and was very frustrated and apologetic about not being "On and funny" like he once was. I think it's after he died they noted that he had Lewy Body dementia or something that affected speech/behaviour and thinking, which in turn just had him majorly depressed since he felt like he was a clown who lost his nose and couldn't be funny anymore no matter how hard he tried.
fukked up shyt.

Practical effects always win.

Nostalgia is big with Die Hard, but it actually holds up incredibly well. Good example of how modern movies could use less to do more.

I despise Bruce Willis and never watched anything else with him but I loved this movie... but not because of him, because of Alan Rickman.
