That ISP might be only option available for you to use.

Calling yourself Sensai and buying Oriole gear is on her own merits.

Hopefully you can see the difference..

I have no clue why her name is Sensei, but she dubs herself as @Stacker Pentecost on this site so an online moniker is an online moniker. My own screen name is based off George Boole, doesn't mean I'm appropriating the culture of English mathematicians. Owning Oriole merchandise is not indicative of culture appropriation because the Orioles is a franchise not a culture, would you be appropriating black culture if you wore Jordans? I'd imagine not.

Everywhere...You never there.
The anger here isn’t because Bruno Mars does black music, they’re angry because white people would rather listen to Bruno Mars than your average black R&B artist. Which again comes down to craving white acceptance.

Don’t take out your white acceptance mental illness on Bruno Mars. :mjlol:

This ... this ... this...

She and others who agree with her are still coming from the standpoint of victimization ...

On some ... “They don’t like us” :therethere:

So... get behind your own people’s shyt then.

Be leery of these types. #StayWoke

I'd like to see a study done.. I would love to see either a popular or semi popular black artist drop a throwback funk or disco track just to see how it does. Man my opinion is that this day was inevitable when you had Justin Timberlake and other white folks working with Pharrell and Timbaland while black artists were out here dropping tecno edm music trying to cross over and shyt. Our music is all fukked up now! That's why I stopped caring and I thought it was over until guys on the coli started making threads on current r&b and shyt sounds dope. You got veteran r&b singers having to sing over trap beats just to keep up. I think it's pretty bad that Bruno Mars seems to be the only artist that can come up off of 90's new jack swing and shyt but man fukk it... Somebody else need to try it just to see what happens.

In the other thread on this same topic, somebody posted at least 5-7 black acts who are doing some measure of Bruno type nostalgia ... however they weren’t really recognizable names.

Again, fund those acts... spend your money ... post about those acts on social media ... all y’all coli cert negroes with influence, go holla at some connects to get those acts into the machine.

I’m trying to think of the best, recognizable black r&b artist to give the nostalgia lane a shot ... maybe NeYo? I think he’d resonate well.

I agree with homegirl's points but Bruno isn't the problem its more so the execs and people in power that make these decisions.
What about the listeners?

Some of us have entirely too much time on our hands.

J Cole is a karaoke rapper. So is Kendrick.

We are having a hard time evolving the culture because we aren’t “struggling” anymore.
