I don’t care. The Knickstape era was

Lol Based of what? Why would you think a team with Carmelo Anthony is doing anything in the playoffs based of his history?Lol that 2012-13 Knicks team had a higher ceiling than the current Knicks.

And even if the HOF was as less generous as your stating, Melo would still get in so..
He getting in first ballot , not 10 years after he is up for it
Jr Smith got himself suspended in the first round and came back a bum. That was it for them. That team had 54 wins. And prime Melo who could get his shot at will. I still think that team was more likely to win a chip than this team. They had more individual shot creators.
Do us a huge favor...Don't ever comment on basketball againThat team had 54 wins. And prime Melo who could get his shot at will. I still think that team was more likely to win a chip than this team. They had more individual shot creators.
Every laker thread goes plat*yawn*
Notice all these non knicks fans always want to comment on our team. Sorry your teams thread only got 4 posts in 3 years.
3 percent drops aren’t plummeting.Sometimes we become enamored with the idea of a player and kinda turn a blind eye to the reality. Especially if he was super popular or someone we watched during our young/formative years..
In Melo's case, we get the superlatives about how great of a scorer he was (heightened by his Olympic play) but in his prime career (8-years in DEN, 7-years NYK) he was a 25, 6, 5, on 44, 35, 83 player. In the playoffs, those shooting splits plummeted to 41, 32, 82... resulting in 1 conference finals run, maybe 2 semi finals runs, and the rest were 1st round exits.
That's not a bad player nor a bad career but neither is it some high bar for a Jokic or Brunson... or any current 1st or 2nd team All-NBA player to surpass.
And by about next playoff season, Ant will have more than KG, so Ant is the Greatest TWolf ever.
