my last job had a huge problem with pointing fingers and jumping to conclusions...accountability issues...my final calendar year working for them - 2017 - was just mentally and physically taxing....i stayed with the lengthy emails covering my bases whenever somebody tried to point a finger at me for something that wasnt my fault...i was getting paid well but the shyt was not worth it in the end
She just skipped manager / specialist stage? Went from coordinator to director in 1.5 years.
That shyt is not normal.

Brehs… all I can say is the corporate world is just the plantation with air conditioning.

All I can say is learn as much as you can from the corporate world, build a network of clients and start your own business. I pretty much have one foot out of the door. If the pay wasn’t so good and if I wasn’t working from home, I would’ve left by now. But my salary is so ridiculous (which I hustled out of them) I’d be a fool to leave now.
Just remember, white supremacy is nepotism in the corporate world. If seeing incompetent CAC after CAC getting promoted doesn’t inspire you to be your own boss, nothing else will. Jungle Fever taught me that.

There was a manager at a past employer his wife went from a secretary to a director at her company. She was definitely fukking higher ups at her company. Smh she was a tall skinny blonde Becky. The manager was a 5'6" white Mexican dude

-Skinny female cac gets hired and is ok at best at her job. 6-12 months later, cac chick gets huge promotion.
-A lot of spouse and family promotions as well.

...my incident - having the head of HR back it up on me on the dance floor (my lady just laughed) and later hit on me when we were both at the bar talking about "you guys have so much rhythm"..she was stinking drunk and so was i..but this shyt i remember clear cuz the bartender lowered his eyes and stifled a laugh...sexual harassment training and policies was a joke at that company

Ghat damn most plush job of my life got contracted after a year of being at home (working opps)
Came back into the office earlier this year to start getting ready for the RTO. Office has been relatively quiet since.
New company hired a "supervisor" which essentially was my role before the transition. She was gone within two months for a better opportunity.
I interviewed damn near a month ago and have a a follow up canceled every week since. I don't know if this is cause of the budget, they are saving money without the role or if they giving me the run around.
I'm about to be doing opps for Amazon if they hire someone else.
