IMO if Nets get eliminated it won’t be by Milwaukee. All it takes is for Giannis to not play well and they in trouble

Who do you view as real threats vs Brooklyn? I only think Milwaukee or Philly can beat them but I can see competitive series with Miami, Boston, and New York. Nets not dogwalking any team thats a Top 5 or 6 seed, they finna be in for some fights...

I said this a while ago on here, I'll say it again...

If the Nets don't have all 3 of their stars healthy and available...

The Bucks are going to the Finals!

Jrue fills a couple of different needs for them especially late in games. He is an elite perimeter defender, he is an above average ball handler, and he is a shot creator and a shot maker.
Bro I knew holiday was good but I didn't think he was going to be that major of an upgrade over Bled but boy was I wrong

When has that ever worked for a championship team? Sounds a lot like the Phoenix Suns.
I’m not 100% sold on the Nets winning it all, but you can’t compare them to those Suns or any of those teams that came up short in the Playoffs.

They have 3 legitimate superstars who are all 25+ PPG scorers. Two of them have proven themselves in the finals as well

I could see Philly getting them under the right circumstances.

Right so the clowns here gotta stop the narrative of the Nets being the greatest team assembled and anything less than a ring is a failure talks

When it’s time to grind for points in the playoffs then you’ll see why having 3 superstars make all the difference
I don’t doubt it’s valuable and they can get the buckets you need, but you still have to get stops at the end of the day. They have zero rim protection. It’s almost unheard of for a championship team

championship team is not yet earned but they do have a team capable of being a champion. Nets have better chance to get stops than a less talented team out scoring KD Harden and Kyrie in the playoffs.

Oh 100, I never understood where this notion that because they have their Big 3 they're the most talented ever and are a virtual lock to win it all...

But I've never been that way, there's only been a relative few seasons where one team was head and shoulders above the rest. I like watching and analyzing basketball and how teams play, not counting the stars. So I never really have gotten caught in yhe emotion of "_________ is unbeatable, they got it locked"...

I will say that the nature of pro basketball renders it so if they don't win it, they'll be viewed as a failure in some form or fashion. And if they lose in shocking or embarrassing fashion, it'll certainly be held against them. They went all in bringing in a rookie coach, grabbing Harden, picking up big name buyout guys. They clearly understand the pressure of being on a championship pedestal, its inevitable there's some element of failure involved if they can't seal it...

No team is unbeatable, but when you stack the deck with three superstars it’s win a ring or the season a failure

How long has Kai been a superstar bc last time I checked he couldn’t lead his own team to an ECF or make the playoffs pre LeBron. He was also on the verge of being written off due to not having interest in the game at the beginning of the season :patrice:

Real shyt they know the risks and have done everything in their power to put them in position to win. You can’t have Harden, Kai, and KD and think an ECF is successful. If they lose with all three healthy it’s definitely going to look funny in the light. With that being said, their stars played 7 games together and hot takes are still flying off the press. They are no doubt the favorites when healthy but they haven’t been healthy all year. It’s why I’ve been confused with the “they better win it all or it’s a failure bc they’re unbeatable on paper talk”

:hubie: As a Cleveland nikka I’ve always been high on Kyrie. I think he’s elevated his play this year too

I respect it. Bruh always been a hooper and good player before the Duke days. I don’t get why everyone criticize him for playing with all of those busts in Cleveland. Only so much the nikka can do on his own :yeshrug:
