i'm a budden stan but he hasn't done anything worthy in like 5 years. when he was putting out monster freestyles in 07 he was a beast..he never really lived up to his true potential though.

I never post jokes in Budden threads. If I do come into a Budden thread, I just state facts: Dude been overrated. He is a "skilled" rapper but he has not accomplished ANYTHING that would place him as some hip hop great. He has NO CLASSIC ALBUMS (just a couple dope mixtapes under his belt), a few average - below average albums and he usually has the least memorable verse on tracks he has with his group. And he NEVER definitively beat ANY of the rappers he prods into a rap battle. What makes him "the best lyricist"? or "the best MC" like alot of Budden stans like to claim? I know ya'll connected with him heavy during the mid 00's with his emo, depression raps but I think it's about time ya'll snap back into reality.

At the end of the day, being a skilled emcee is all that matters.

What I love about Pharaoh Monch, isn't the same thing I love about Joe's skill. It's okay to like more than one artist for different reasons breh.

It's okay to have your own opinion too.

Truth is, cats say he's corny for his, off the mic antics. Not his lyrics. I'm into it for the lyrics, not these artist personal lives.
