Because more of these pundits and women's right groups are going to start protesting at the actual games and rally against any sponsor that is associate with the NFL until they resolve this issue. Also, a lot of these single parent (women) families may start steering their sons to other sports because they may feel that the NFL doesn't care about women and child abuse. Ratings doesn't matter right now because most men don't really give a fukk and just want to watch football on Sunday. But on a larger scale, they NFL needs to clean this mess very soon or it going to get worst for the league in the long run.

Most women dont give a fukk either though...there are a lot of women who just want to watch football too...without all of the political grandstanding. People watch football to get away from that stuff.

The NFL that we know right now will not be around in 20 years. Too many issues with concussions and the "violent" image is not going to survive in today's soft ass society.

Exactly and these outraged people add absolutely nothing to the ratings which is where the NFL money is...These feminists and liberal fakkits watch one football game a year and that's for the party, commercials and half time show...They don't care for the game, if they had their way tackle football would be banned...They need to hurt the NFL's money to get what they want but their agenda has minimal support from the NFL viewer...so let them protest in front of stadiums all they want, good chance they end up catching a beating from tailgating fans while protesting domestic violence which would be hilarious...they already moved on to phase two which is bombard the NFL sponsors with hate mail, hence the response from Budweiser and Nike today...Neither one of these companies is walking away from the NFL, they just want these clowns off their back...
