So I have to ask; they are on the overtaking lane...how can they be sure they are not going to smash head first into the next car in the same lane? They are covering stupid amount of distance at those speeds....

Did 130+, but not over 140, in both my Bimmers. Couldve gone faster but the governor kicked in. One thing about those Bimmers is they stay planted no matter the speed. The Michelin PS4s definitely helped

Sadly, no. My old Bimmer was a 540i M-Sport, meaning the suspension was a bit better and so were the brakes. My current is a 430i but still very capable.

But I’m saving up to buy my first M for my next one though. I’m thinking M8 Competition Gran Coupe or M5 Competition. I’d love to get the M5 Competition Sport, but that’s still expensive

Fastest I ever hit is 120 in the 328 on the Thruway and even that was like "Aight..lets not tempt fate"

There was legit a point where I'm like aight this feels more like I'm flying than driving and I don't like it.

I'm good on going faster than that

I hit 122 mph in my old scat pack on interstate 40 and I swear it felt like everything was moving at light speed hahaha

Breh, real talk, I never liked the X6M before. But this one is fire. I can see myself driving this. Not a fan of the fender flares, Id leave those the same color as the body, but I love everything else. Now the new M3s and the new 4 series are butt fukking ugly with the beaver teeth. And I hate the new 5 series too. Super ugly and heavy

Have done 120 a couple times....fastest I've ever gone was 140 on the 99. It's exhilarating, all the cars you pass by at lightning speed look like they in slow motion. But after you come back down to a regular speed....felt kind of stupid for how pointless it all was. Just unnecessary.
