So really let's think about what makes this team a contender in 2018

Draft a blue chip qb or get Cousins

Sign a very good corner

Get some help with pass rush

Find another reliable WR option

If we could hit on those 4 things I think you'd see a team that is a playoff contende

That sounds like a 2 or 3 year project with us. I can't see is spending the money to get all of those pieces and the draft will have us in the same position, in a 2 or 3 year holding pattern hoping they pan out.

Reid is coming back and covert might play so safety wise there deep as they can be

Yeah, I don't see us contending next year unless we have a GOAT type of draft. Of course luck plays a big part in these type of situation but if everything goes smoothly, I think we should be back in the fold for the 2019-2020 season

And for the people asking for more rushing, I don't think Kyle will ever change his pass happy game plan. It's something we gonna have to live with when we are bad, decent or good
