Stupid shyt... If you're really trying to rebuild then getting picks is in your best interest. You had him on the trade block and multiple teams were interested. You could have gotten a mid-round pick at least. Instead you get nothing.

I understand what Bo meant to the 49ers but at the end of the day this is a business and the decision to release him in the MIDDLE OF THE SEASON is a horrible business decision. If you're going to release him for nothing then you wait until the offseason to do that. You don't do that when you're in the middle of the Season before the draft.
