OP is right. Coincidentally this is what all the ancestors used to do back in the day when they wanted to get buff quickly for war. Eating one meal in 3 days, and always pissing in intermittent spurts, never all at once. Unfortunately this knowledge got lost.

Problem with fasting is that's a short term solution. Good if you have to lose weight rapidly for a particular purpose (wedding, boxing, acting... Ect) but generally people can't sustain that type of restriction too long because it fukks with your mind.

The best way is too eat regularly but healthy food. Maybe reserve one day of the week to eat whatever junk food you want, fast one day per week max and keep a regular physical routine

Speak for yourself. I fukkin love fasting. I feel so much better now living thus way than eating everyday. If anything my refeed days are the worst. I love the days when I'm fasting.

Even after I reach my body composition goal I'll continue to live this fasting focused lifestyle. Its super easy and feels great.

You can definitely get stronger and put on some muscle while in a deficit. I've done it. But putting large amounts of muscle(like 6lbs worth) while in a deficit doesn't seem real. Nah. Maybe you can put on definition that can make you appear muscular. The body is great at casting illusions(to you in the mirror and to other ppl). The lower your body fat, the more certain muscle groups may pop out via definition. Doesn't necessarily mean you're on swole though. I've been there.

1. Checking to see if you gained belly fat visually isn’t an adequate way to determine how much muscle you gained

2. You probably put yourself in a catabolic state where you have the opposite effect. Your body was put in starvation mode because you are fasting and is storing fat to eat away at since you aren’t feeding it aminos/protein :francis:

I'm actually 5'11".

My goal is to get shredded like Brad Pitt in fight club. Sub 10% body fat is my goal. I'm not interested in being swole. More mass is actually bad for longevity. I want to live a long healthy lifestyle and to do that you gotta be as lean as possible.

Real spit.

Our bodies evolved for cycles of feasting and fasting. When you get in line with nature amazing things happen.
