Legitimately one of the dumbest motherfukkers I’ve ever seen. anorexic and thinks going days without water is healthy. Hope you shrivel up and die you lusting after preteen children fukking creep

I'm stronger than I've been in years. I have more energy now than I did 5 years ago. And I've been told I look younger now after just a few months of fasting.

Keep being scared of the wonders that come from fasting.

Before a tumbleweed starts blowing thru this soon to be barren thread, Where are the peer reviewed/published studies advocating for the general population to employ long term multi-day 72-96 hour food and water fasts for health benefits by medical professionals and scientists?

Human trials haven't been done because there is no monetary benefit. Drug companies run these trials and unless there is something to sell they don't do it. Telling people they can live longer and healthier by not eating has no monetary benefit. That's why you don't see large scale human trials.

What we do have, however, are animal trials. And the results there are clear as day. You feed mice only one meal every couple of days and they live much longer than mice who eat everyday. They not only live longer but are healthier and gain no weight despite eating the same number of calories.

And if mice don't do it for you go and look up the testimonials of thousands of people all over the internet who have made prolonged fasting a part of their lives and look at their results. Its the same as what I'm saying.

If you did put on weight it's because your body is holding on to what ever little fat there is in your body, it's not muscle.

How can my body hold onto fat when I'm not giving it any calories for 72 hours straight? I'm still active. I'm still working out. Where am I getting energy to do with zero food going into my system?

Yall are ignorant as fukk on this topic. Go read up on the benefits of fasting then holla at me.

In animals. There are tons of studies showing the benefits of fasting in animal trials.

It doesn't cost a lot of money to experiment on mice. Also given their short lifespans you can get results quicker. So lots of scientists have done those experiments on mice. Human trials are far more expensive and take much longer. Without a drug to be sold to recoup the costs of the human trials there is no reason for drug companies to fund any research into fasting. And when it comes to government grants, we all know corporate interests control Washington so the chances this sort of research gets funded in unlikely.

Good thing we are also animals and our biology is nearly identical to most mammals. Thus we can extrapolate that the results from the animal trials will most likely synch with human trials.
