It's an interesting verbal question. The issue isn't about verbal harassment. It's about her state of mind. Would a reasonable person believe that they were in physical danger? If she pulled a gun out and started shooting and I was in the jury I would not convict her. Especially after the dude slapped her ass and another dude ran over her car. In fact, I'd argue that the moment they surrounded her car she could have started firing. If it was one person maybe you could make an argument that using a gun was extreme, but with a large group like that? I don't see it. People have been killed for way less. Tbh, with Georgia's stand your ground law, the case probably wouldn't even go to court.can someone actually be labeled as being in the right after using a gun because of verbal harassment ?
Also, just because she didn't have a weapon does not mean those individuals in the crowd will get off scot-free. I expect the police and the DA to prosecute everyone they can to the fullest extent of the law. In addition, people on social media will try to find out where these Men work/go to school and attempt to ruin their lives. In the era of Me Too and Times Up the notion that you're going to have roving groups of Males intimidating and harassing Women, and destroying their property is inconceivable. And I expect, because of the larger optics at play that the Police and the DA will try to make an example of the males in the video.
