Another thing you can look at imo is who they had in they cabinet, I'm not fully informed on who they had, but to me it seems like Cheny was pulling the strings for Bush's foreign policy, so you can say Bush made an informed or misinformed decision based off of cheny. Trump appears to do whatever he pleases, I doubt he listens to his VP or Secretary of State, a lot of republicans don't see eye to eye with him.

Crazy that this is/was even a debate. I hate wars too but Trump has literally been attempting a coup in the country we live in. Literally asking the courts and state legislature to ignore the will of the people. And got a crazy amount of cooperation from Republicans.

We may never have a peaceful transition again when Republicans lose.

That’s a hard one honestly. A lot of what Bush did more or less pissed people off with how foul it was but only affected pocket groups of Americans in terms of day by day activity. Bama’s good 8 years really offset Bush’s in a lot of ways and restabilized the country, that means regardless of how bad his moves were they at least moved through the system of checks and balances which allowed them to go back the other way with the next president. That is how democracy is supposed to work.

Trump has changed the way citizens of this country actually function. He’s completely destroyed reliability in the media (which they kinda had coming to be honest), instilled a cult of anti-intellectualism within a 3rd or more of the country, and empowered radicals and fringe groups to express their views openly and in public. He and his administration have worked entirely outside of the realm of democracy. We’re going to be dealing with this for the rest of our lives or at the very least until it reaches a violent climax such as civil war or an act of mass violence on a historic level. We are basically sitting ideal wise where Germany was in 1933 just in modern terms.

Seriously. Trump opened the door to a future dictatorship in America.

Bush also killed 500,000+ people

Trump 300,000+ when you factor in how he murdered people with his purposeful lack of covid response and downplaying it

Bush also had Patriot Act which turned the US into a surveillance state.

Yes what Trump here was beyond reprehensible.

At the end of the day, he will be gone come hell or high water.

Bush has Gitmo, Patriot Act, Iraq War Crime

Thats a rapsheet that puts Reagan to shame.

'ey, if you want to count bodies than you should consider that bush had 500K bodies in 8 years.

Trump is actually at 370K but he didn't start dropping them until March of last year. And he knew how deadly the virus was but that still didn't stop him from bringing in people that were for herd immunity. Imagine if he had another 4 years.
