George Santos hawking Cameo videos with his drag queen alter ego: ‘I’ve decided to bring Kitara out of the closet’
“Ya’ll weren’t ready for this drop?” Santos wrote on the social platform X.
“I’ve decided to bring Kitara out of the closet after 18 years!” the 35-year-old ousted congressman said.
Santos included a link to book a personalized video with Kitara Ravache on Cameo for $350. The ex-lawmaker, who last week announced he was suspending an independent House bid, first began selling videos on the site in December, just days after he was booted from Congress.
While still in office in January 2023, Santos had responded to photos snapped years earlier that appeared to show him in drag. “No, I was not a drag queen in Brazil, guys,” Santos told reporters at the time.
“I was young, and I had fun at a festival. Sue me for having a life,” he said.
Santos had initially denied a Reuters report that he participated in drag queen contests with the name Kitara and cross-dressed in gay pride events in Brazil more than a decade ago.
In his plug for the Cameo videos with Kitara, Santos claimed that a portion of the proceeds would be donated to a pair of charitable organizations. Ugandan officials have invalidated his diplomatic visa and issued a bounty for his arrest.
