Buddy ain’t going no where. His new contract didn’t even kick in yet.

CJ McCoullum would be a good look but y’all don’t have enough for him.
What does cj do differently than Harris. Y’all should’ve just resigned Butler. Y’all need more players with a diverse skill set. Don’t have too manny overall multi-skilled players on that roster. Ppl laughed when I said Butler was the best overall player in y’all roster last season.

I'm tryna think of some scoring guards to target but there aren't many I can think of

Ben was dominant tonight, whenever we use him as a screener in the PnR it brings great returns, and then Brett hides it away, not to be seen for another 20 games :francis:
Remember when Ben had 31 on 11/13 shooting with 9 dimes vs Brooklyn in the playoffs when we blew them out without Embiid? That was the game when we broke out Simmons as a screener, and then it disappeared :francis:
Tonight we use Ben as a screener and he put up 29/13/11/3/4 on 65%FG :yeshrug:
It's not a coincidence, this is a new wrinkle to his game and the offense that we need to use more. And unlike the dunker spot on the baseline, he can run point and set screens. It doesn't take anything from his game, it only adds opportunities. Plus guys like Harris and Richardson like to run PnR. I think I saw 6 of Richardson's assists were to Ben, and Harris ran a ton of PnR on the Clippers and was as good as anyone in the league scoring out of it. This is a potential boost to the offense, and Brett refuses to consistently look to it.

Bad string of losses here, but hopefully this shows something we need to take advantage of moving forward

Ya'll gonna spend a up to a decade watching Embiid and Simmons slowly want to kill one another if one of them doesn't force the other out. :yeshrug:

Folks want spacing on the floor and then suggest re-signing Butler. :russ:

If you think Butler was our best player then you didn't watch the Sixers enough. Or maybe you only watched the highlights and end of games.

each passing game is bringing us to the inevitable BB firing and then ultimately the Simmons/Embiid split :manny:

Brown is not getting fired this season. We're not trading Joel or Ben. The Sixers are gonna win 50 games for the 3rd season in a row and both players are under 26 years old and recently got big deals. It's not gonna happen.

Now trading Horford, that might be something we should look into.

Bruh they gotta move him to PF and have Trey Burke start at PG

Maybe go after Collision
My thing is, Ben doesn't have to move to PF. He would if you sat him in the dunker spot, but he doesn't need to as a screener, and that's part of the beauty of it. He can run the point, just add the flexibility to set screens. Like Ben could swing to Tobias on the wing, and then go screen for him. He's both the PG and a screener on this possession

butler was your best overall player because Ben and Embidd mess hard. Butler had the most versatility of all your players.

Simmons is supremely limited and the big mistake is thinking he’s a ppg. He’s not. He’s a point forward. He’s more Draymond than Lebron when it come to facilitating and setting up other player, and that’s not cuz of coaching but because of his skill set. When Simmons is playing the go position he isn’t always making his teammates better. Any guard on that team can dribble to the lane, turn and pass it out for a 3. Thats not making anyone better. Last night Harden turned an avg C in Capela into what looked like a HOFer. A player of capela skill set should never have dominant game opposed to a supreme better player in Embidd but it happened. When Harden penetrates he makes you commit one way or the other. He finishes, somebody got a oop, or Gordon open for a wide open 3. It’s that simple for Harden but not for Ben because he is a complete pg. When Ben penetrates to the left(because he rarely goes right), everyone holds their ground because he's not a great finisher and they know he'd rather pass. Simmons can't be put into P&R as a dribbler primarily because the defense will go under every time and the opposition wings will cheat and clog. Cant put the ball in his hands in the closing mins of close games cuz of his FTs.

Simmons limitations are holding this team back. You’re foolish if you think Simmons is on Butlers level
