Bust Simmons - Sixers 2022 Season Thread

This season has been completely dysfunctional Embiid played like well under his talent level most of the season and was hurt a 3rd of the season. Now he’s playing closer to his level and Ben is out Ben was playing his best basketball in January after playing some of his worst ball in November and December. We’re stuck with Horford’s horrible contract and declining skill the rest of the season. There were rumors they had offers in place to move him but Brand refused then All because he thought Horford would be the answer against Milwaukee in the playoffs . If Ben misses significant time we’re screwed. If Embiid misses any more time we’re even more screwed and in big games Tobias has shrunk more and more . Next season we’ll have to worry about the Bucks and Nets Also ownership might use Ben’s injury as a excuse to keep Brown if we get bounced early in the playoffs

Season's over, hopefully we lose in the 1st round and Brett gets fired

But knowing this team, Simmons being out will be an excuse for giving Brown another year

Honestly if Indiana and OKC finishes better than us OKC will finish outside the top 20 and we get their pick. It’s a weak draft and we can’t really draft well anyway but at least we get something from trading Fultz
