Why you think you’re not getting Bron? Ben and Bron are cool, plus Biid recruiting.
you think kawhi, pg and bron don't have that plan for the lakers? if kawhi lands there, bron will be soon to follow. okc or la is the word for pg right now.

maybe we get them in a long shot... with no GM... but for right now, who else we looking at?

Pop's rule is to not trade within conference, he'll do everything he can to keep Kawhi away from LA
Trade for Kawhi, sign George

Simmons
George
Leonard
Saric
Embiid

Who are they targeting that they want to move up for :francis: after last yr I’m cool on that :hubie:
I think Doncic if he falls or JJJ is their plan?

why would we trade for kawhi with a 1 year commitment. he's basically saying he wants to go to LA and will only sign long term with LA. he didn't list any other teams. you get kawhi and he's gonna wink wink with magic to wait out the year and sign anyway. he still playing injured ain't he

Kawhi adores Brett Brown, just because LA is his top choice doesn't mean it's the only place he'd settle down in. Who doesn't want to play in LA, but how many guys does LA actually get in the end?

You bring in Leonard, this team is winning 60+ games and probably makes the Finals, hell I think they're a real threat to win because of matchups, and we're the 4th largest US market with a rabid fan base in the easy East. With Leonard joining Simmons, Saric, and Embiid you're then gonna have LeBron or George looking seriously about joining too, and if not we're players to find another guy next Summer to be our 5th piece.

i just can't feel that hope.. no team is going to trade for him without him specifically saying he'll sign long term

so we're banking on brett brown being the deciding factor. cause it surely isn't for basketball reasons. the spurs are a playoff team without him. he's the #1 option so it ain't to have his own team. he's got the best coach in the league so it ain't that. he's gonna get the max so it ain't money. he's got rings and finals mvps so he ain't chasing that

what the hell the sixers have to convince him to stay here? it's obvious this is about exposure and being seen and fame. plus it's his home town

Not that it’s pertaining to much but two guys. But I heard Hanlen who is Joel’s and now Markelle’s trainer on the radio the other day. Mentioned that it takes 3 months to rebuild a shot..so I doubt Kelle plays SL.

Also mentioned that Joel is as locked in as he’s ever seen him since the Celtics series as it exposed to him what he needs to work on.

For basketball reasons we're better than the Spurs in the easier East, and if we can use Kawhi to then leverage George or LeBron we have maybe the GOAT squad on paper. He feels that the Spurs betrayed him, guys second guessed him, they held a meeting about him, TP and Manu threw shots at him, and Pop will be leaving by 2020. And just because you have a ring and a Finals MVP that doesn't mean you're not chasing more, look around the league your legacy now is determined be your rings. Spurs are great with Kawhi, but he knows those teams aren't better than these super teams running around. People sleep on Philly when it comes to exposure, sure LA is king in that regard but Philly is the 4th largest US market and look at Simmons and Embiid the guys are mega stars despite having 1 combined all star appearance and 160 total games between them
