We’ll beat the shyt outta Boston bro
Imagine Theis tryna guard Joel :mjlol:

My positive spin on the game:
  1. Joel looks phenomenal. He was aggressive, physically dominant, playing inside, etc. That Joel is the kind of guy who can be your #1 option on a championship team easy.
  2. Tobias, despite not being his most efficient night, is really stepping up into both the role of a leader and perimeter creator. 30 points, 8 rebounds, hit some timely buckets when the offense was falling apart.
  3. The 6 seed is highkey what I want anyway. I'd rather play 3 seed Boston in the first round than 4 seed Miami, I'd rather play 2 seed Toronto in the 2nd than Milwaukee, and it gives us a chance of there being a Miami upset over the Bucks as the Bucks matchup poorly with them. This loss not only puts us behind Indiana, but it gives them the tie breaker too

I question us getting out of the 1st round this year not because of the matchup but more because of this team not showing any measure of consistency this season. These nikkas will beat the Bucks, Lakers or Clippers one night and lose to the Wizards, Suns, or Warriors the next night.

I don't want to face Toronto by any means but I'm not as worried about Miami personally. The games they beat us this year outside of 1 where they blew us out in MIA were by a combined 5 points and could have gone either way. The Sixers totally blew one against them in MIA that we should have won by turning it over in the last 10 seconds of the game.

I'd probably be most shook of Toronto because Nurse has already shown repeatedly that Bwett is his bwitch when it comes to match ups late game.

Yall really paid tobias n horford all that money instesd of jimmy buckets :mjlol:
I think Jimmy wanted to leave for Miami regardless. I don't have a problem with keeping Tobias, he's been a 20/7/3 guy all year playing actually pretty good defense. After a rough start to the year he's been shooting 47/39/82 splits for his last 55 games as well. Really stepped up and become a leader.

The Horford money we really should've put elsewhere, maybe someone like Brogdon, although he seems to have forgotten how to shoot this season

Jimmy for Tobias would have been fine and then we'd have cap space for bench vets and role players.

Jimmy for Tobias and Horford blows.

U really gonna keep lyin to yaself to cover for your FO incompetency , at least be like many of Bulls or knick fans, and admit when your FO has been trash consistently

The Knicks and Bulls were lottery teams before the process and still are while the Sixers will go to offs three times in a row.

Lots of mfs criticize EB in this thread but we ain't the fukking Knicks. fukk out of here.

What part of Jimmy never was going to stay, don’t y’all understand?

he wanted his own team.

And even if that wasn't the case beforehand with Brett as the coach the man was going to leave anyway. Jimmy going to Miami was in the works prior before landing in Philadelphia:

“People overlook the fact that this was one of the places I was trying to get to, early on. For that reason. Because life isn’t always about basketball. It’s about principle. It’s about character. It’s about so many different things..." --Jimmy Butler in November 2019.

Maxing Tobias was what they had to do and its not like Tobias hasnt been consistent for this team, starting every game, becoming the vocal leader, etc. I wish people would let that Jimmy Butler shyt go who gives a fukk at this point.

Yeah Jimmy wanted to live in Miami and play for the Heat. I do think he has probably would of stayed if Brett Brown wasn't here due to his relationship with Embiid. They became best friends doing the season
