Between the FO shopping him, & what Jo said after game 7 & what Jo’s tweeting, Ben is not gonna come back to Philly. And I can’t blame him.
For the record, it is time for Ben to start over somewhere else tho. And the criticisms from Jo are on point, I just would’ve told him that shyt in the locker room, not the media or social media.
I already can’t stand that “carry on” line, I don’t even watch tv to hear it

He reminds me of that dude Stinky Peterson from Hey Arnold. Just a dumb country nikka. There was an episode where Stinky was chosen to be the spokesperson for the Yahoo soda they have on the show. So he gets a lot of exposure and he becomes popular. Turns out, the Yahoo drink company only chose Stinky to be the spokesperson because he’s so dumb and goofy. He was basically a joke, but he wasn’t in on it. At the end, Stinky finds out, and when it’s time to sign a contract for more money, stinky declines it. He wanted to keep his integrity.
I say that so say, if Perkins was given that same opportunity: 1. He would be fine with being the joke and 2. He’d definitely sign that contract even though he knows people only see him as a joke
What would yal be happy with getting for Ben Simmons? No Morey scenarios either.

The narrative that Klutch is trying to sell just isn’t what really happened man. They did everything to appease Ben man. He just didn’t hold up his end of the bargain when it came to developing his game.
