He’s got a couple bangers on here but this shyt is all over the place…

For 1, this album has way too many remakes

I wish Pharrell and Tim had more production.

He could’ve left this Tigger track off especially

Listening to some of these, there’s actually some good songs on heee, but it just feels like a “hey yall I still got it” and a clear trend chasing type album. I actually like the first two songs, and even the DaBaby/T-Pain song despite it being a clearly inferior remake of “Get Throwed”. The Morray track is cool too (still think Morray should be doing traditional R&B instead of the emo pain shyt). The overall production from what I did listen to though could easily have been on a Migos, Kodak, or Lil Durk album though, and that’s not what I want to hear on a Busta album. This really just made me spin various tracks from previous albums.

Like people have said already Busta sounds like the featured artiste on alot of these songs

But hes the greatest feature rapper of all time so I wouldn’t be surprised if this was an intentional concept

Bus is one of my favorite rappers but this is trash. Only thing I will say is I think he should do a dancehall album if he going to put trash like this.

Like he’s mad outta pocket on some of these beats.
Weed plate. If I had this in CD form I would have tossed this to the side of the road :heh:

Busta rhymes is the perfect example of an artist who compromises his quality of music to try and appeal to younger generations

Unfortunately 90% of old heads from the 90s approach music in this way and even Nas is guilty of it.

You can big up and show respect to youngsters without stepping into their lane... You can't do what they do like how they do it... Stick to what you're best at and what your fans expect from you for fukk sake.

:picard:

What is it with these legends who end up chasing trends. Busta was one of those dudes with his own style and flow and entire creative universe too.

How has Nas tried to "appeal to younger generations"? everything he's done the past 3 years never came off "Forced" he even sounded natural on some of the "Updated sound" that hit boy provided, so i don't get it :youngsabo:

What's the whole point of having Tim, Swizz, and Pharrell "executive produce" this album if it feels like they just picked a bunch of random songs and hope something sticks?! I bet busta just called them on a zoom call and said "i'ma have yalls names on my new project to make it look bigger that what it is, hope yall don't mind" and they just looked at each other like "Whatever, if it's gonna end this call soon and let me get back to my sh*t" :why:

Busta thinking that having those names have that kind of weight like it's 2001-04 :snoop:

Busta had the right idea with his previous album and sounded the f*ck wayy more cohesive than this debacle :what:

Stick to one producer throughout the album and watch the magic happen, mfs don't understand that there's an audience for your specific style, you ain't gotta try to cater to everyone like back then where RADIO was the only outlet!
