I think if you're a young trap fan you're probably not interested in 90s rappers like Busta. If you're a Busta fan you probably don't want to hear him on generic trap beats. I don't think that leaves him with a big audience for this.

I want to hear him on those knocking, bass heavy Scratch and Nottz beats with crazy samples. Busta used to be very creative in his music and this album feels pandering and safe to fit into a spotify trap playlist. Busta is stil rhyming at a high level, but yeah the music. I'm not anti trap either, but for the most part it should be left to the younger generations - 1 or 2 tracks like this would have been good enough for keeping his toe in the pool.

How has Nas tried to "appeal to younger generations"? everything he's done the past 3 years never came off "Forced" he even sounded natural on some of the "Updated sound" that hit boy provided, so i don't get it

Out of 6 albums there’s not more than 3-4 “generic trap beats”, which is still a stretch. This is a flat out lie. Busta has more of a forced sound on that one album than all those Nas & HitBoy albums combined.

Like people have said already Busta sounds like the featured artiste on alot of these songs

But hes the greatest feature rapper of all time so I wouldn’t be surprised if this was an intentional concept
