Once you reach 40+, your metabolism slows down and your abdomen doesnt burn visceral fat like it used to. When it comes to maintaining weight, diet is always more important than any gymwork.

Taking in more calories than you can burn makes you fat. Empty calories specifically. Do you have any idea how much empty calories are in a bottle of rose champagne? At least 1000. One beer? 200. And you already know a long night of drinking is usually completed with a greasy meal.
