Busta should have never started lifting weights if he wasnt going to do cardio as well because all that partying, eating late at night, and drinking, does not go well with just lifting weights. I notice a lot of people get fat easily once they sart lifting weights and live the same lifestyle while people who do medium cardio or light resistance training end up looking younger the older they get. Im talking about the face not the body. Pause.
:comeon: you don't know what you are talking about pleighboy. lifting weights>>>>> 'medium cardio'

I think you got it backwards, exercise is almost more important than diet. Think about what you wrote. "Once you reach 40+, your metabolism slows down". If your metabolism is slow you can eat all the "right" foods and still not see the results you want. Unless you play the low carb tricm to lose glycogen so you can say you technically lost weight but it is water not fat. You need to speed up your metabolism to be able to make use of the food and exercise is perfect for this to happen. The thing is if you just lift weights, your metabolism wont be as high as someone who does medium cardio, and lift weights daily.

You are wrong. Diet>> exercise when losing fat weight.

Go look up studies that compare weight training vs moderate cardio as a means of boosting metabolism and losing fat.
Reading is fundamental for you too I see!

Read what I wrote again. I said it effects their face and the cardio people look younger as they get older and the people who just lift weights still look older. Where did you get I was posting about fat loss?.

So why do fat people who diet, still look fat or skinny with a sick look if its all about diet and not exercise?.
Because weight loss and body composition/aesthetics are two different goals.

And what are you basing "looks" younger on?

No, its because their metabolism is still low and they tend to not have a lot of muscle. Do you know what metabolism is?.

You can't be serious right now :snoop:

You can not do any form of exercise and through nutrition lose weight.

They still look the same because they haven't engage in a form of exercise to build muscle.

Where did I say they look the same.?.

I'll let that slide but it comes down to metabolism. Let me see if you know as much as you claim?. This isnt to dis you but get into your head.

which form of muscle does weight lifting train, and which form does cardio train?.

And why do these exercises work for each type of muscle?

Lets not derail this thread. It has potential. Post up your argument in the gym forum and let's take it form there.
