I mean, I didn't and don't follow the Warriors so I didn't know his deficiencies, but he did take over a sub .500 and the team made the playoffs 2 of his 3 years coming out the West. I'm not going to sit here and act like that wasn't nothing, but I'm caping for him neither sohe had 1 playoff series win in 3 years, why we propping up Mark Jackson?

They were 23 - 43 his first year
Went to the Western conference semis his second year.
Went 51 - 31 his third year and with another playoff trip.
Then he was inexplicably fired and replaced with an unproven white coach who wasn't even in basketball 2 - 3 years before.

Nah. Last year was an anomaly in terms of how injury riddled the teams they faced. T really was. I honesttly wished a healthy Kyrie played last seasonso everytime somebody wins a nba title was because they were not facing healthy teams
Thats true but they arent the first to receive such treatment nor have they gotten it the worst. They have gotten more than their fair share of dikkriding too.
They earned that chip just like they earnin this asswhoopin. That said, it would not be a good look to lose (especially in 5) to the first squad that can compete with you. You cant take the chip away but it definitely would make them look funny in the light for it to end like this.
